Tour de Brew Kansas City
A bicycle tour of Kansas City's historic breweries and working breweries
Every time I see this, I get cranky (pun intended) about the claim that this is the first ride of its type in KC.
It is not.
Outspokin’, the gay cycling club, held a ride called Bottoms Up that went from the defunct breweries in the Bottoms up thru the City Market and to points south, stopping at brew pubs. It included taking a tour of the Boulevard brewery if you were lucky enough to be one of the first 16 to sign up.
I think it’s great to have another similar ride, but like so many things, the gays made it fashionable first.

Hi Ken, it is on May 19 at Knuckleheads Saloon, 2715 Rochester, KCMO. 63 miles starts at 7:00 am; 33 miles starts at 9:00 am; and 15 miles starts at 10:00 am. Check the Event info page for more details.
